A Look at Guatemala's 2015 Elections

Guatemalans went to the polls on September 6 for general elections, voting for President and Vice President, Representatives to the Guatemalan Congress and the Central American Parliament, and Mayors and Local Council Representatives. Since 2010, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) has been working in Guatemala providing technical assistance to the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) to strengthen its capacity to conduct inclusive, credible and transparent elections.
