The Role of the International Community in Deterring Fraud

This podcast, the third in a series of three, features Alan Wall, IFES chief of party in Nepal. Mr. Wall shares insight into what the international community can do to deter fraud. 

IFES has always included anti-fraud measures in the programs it implements. This fall, IFES will go one step further by releasing three white papers by Rafael Lopez-Pintor, Staffan Darnolf, and Alan Wall, that provide a framework for strengthening the anti-fraud component of programming activities. Furthermore, it will develop practical tools for election officials when stamping out electoral fraud. These three podcasts provide a glimpse into the areas they explore in the white papers.
