Critical Assistance to Early Parliamentary Elections in Armenia
In spring 2018, Armenia witnessed a change in government following peaceful street protests. The country’s new leadership announced a state program that prioritized a revision of the electoral framework and called for snap parliamentary elections. IFES mobilized its resources to provide critical technical assistance to the Central Election Commission in preparation for both the parliamentary and Yerevan city Council of Elders elections.

This report describes the details from IFES efforts to strengthen Armenia’s democratic structures from 1997 to 2002. Public Attitude Towards Political Life Electoral Experience Confidence in Leadership and Civic Participation in Armenia
This report details a series of IFES conducted focus groups from May 2000. The aim of the focus groups centered on how ordinary Armenians felt about their leaders and institutions, their confidence in the electoral process, and their overall perceptions of the political and economic situation in Armenia. This research was conducted in the hopes that it would help aid organizations identify areas of greatest concern and need in the process of democratic development in Armenia.

“How to Vote in These Elections” is a newsletter flyer, available in Spanish, published in 1997 by the “La Prensa” newspaper in Honduras, in lead up to the November 30, 1997 General Elections in Honduras and intended to instruct voters on the voting procedures. This special issue of the newsletter contains some cartoons reflecting the political parties participating in the elections.

Armenia: 1995 On-Site Technical Assistance
This report summarizes observations made by IFES reporters in Armenia in regarding national assembly elections in July 1995. The report also discusses the simultaneous referendum on a new Armenian Constitution. The report details several amendments to the constitution, including clauses regarding human rights, voting districts and ballots.
