To mark International Youth Day 2016, the Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening (CEPPS) reaffirms its commitment to supporting inclusive and meaningful global youth engagement. “Civic/Voter Education Instructional Manual for the Referendum on the Choice” is a booklet that was distributed in 1999 to help educate voters on the upcoming year 2000 referendum on the Ugandan Political System. The booklet describes civic education, as well as what the differences will be between “The Movement” and “Multi Party” systems.

Civic Education Teaching Manual 2nd edition
The “Civic Education Teaching Manual: 2nd edition” was published in 1994 to train civic educators for the 1994 general assembly election in Uganda. The literature discusses topics such as voter registration, how to properly fold the ballot paper, and vote counting. The pamphlet also indicated that civic educators should urge voters to attend the candidates meetings so they can make informed decision when voting.

Joven Nicaraguense
“Nicaraguan Youth” is a voter guide, available in Spanish, issued in 1989 by the Supreme Electoral Council in Nicaragua in lead up to the February 25, 1990 Nicaraguan Parliamentary Elections. The brochure contains instructions on the electoral registration process to take place before the elections. The brochure is specifically intended to young Nicaraguans to encourage and familiarize them with the registration process.
