Update of Haiti’s National Strategy on Gender and Elections
IFES is working with local women’s and human rights organizations in Haiti to update the National Strategy on Gender and Elections (SNGE) ahead of the country’s October 2019 legislative elections. Libyan Teachers Participate in Civic Education Curriculum Training
In partnership with the Libyan Ministry of Education, IFES conducted a training in early December 2018 for more than 120 educators from across Libya in preparation for the nationwide roll out of a new civic education curriculum for grades four through nine. The training familiarized teachers with the new curriculum developed by IFES and introduced new and interactive teaching methodologies.

Presentation of Armenian Parliamentary Mandates
IFES, the United Nations Development Programme and the Central Election Commission of Armenia organized a parliamentary mandate presentation ceremony.
