In preparation for the December 7th, 1996 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections in Ghana, the Electoral Commission of Ghana published “A Guide to the Voter.” This guide provided Ghanaian citizens with complete voter registration information, further information on the election process and an overview of election workers. The purpose of this guide is to educate the public and contribute towards a peaceful, free, and fair election.

“Teenagers Promote the Vote through Slick Music Video” is an article in The Washington Post written by Patricia Davis on May 23rd, 1996. Teenagers from local Fairfax, Virginia schools incorporated music into a video addressed to their peers about the importance of the youth vote. The video was shown throughout District of Columbia high schools and local teachers and city officials use the video to promote voter education to teenagers as well.
