“Electoral Vote” is an October 1996 issue of the Mini Page mock newspaper published by Universal Press Syndicate that explains to children the process of the Presidential Election which will take place in November 1996. The document provides a simplified description of the role election workers play in the process and how presidents are elected; there are also several games and puzzles that teach children more about the USA and its electoral system.

“These are the Steps for Voting” is an electoral brochure, available in Spanish, issued in 1996 by the Supreme Electoral Council in Nicaragua in lead up to the October 20, 1996 Nicaraguan General Elections and intended to familiarize voters voting procedures. The brochure explains the steps to be taken when voting and it contains samples of the ballots to be used in the elections.

“From Citizen to Citizen: 7” is the October edition of the “Citizen to Citizen” informative bulletin, available in Spanish, issued in 1996 by the Citizens’ Movement for Democracy group in Mexico and intended to familiarize Mexicans with the news regarding the matter of the electoral system in Mexico and civic responsibilities and rights. In this edition, some of the topics covered are the electoral system reform and its flaws and the rights of indigenous people, among other matters.
