Recensement 95


“Recensement 95” is a pamphlet from August 1995, published by the Director General of Elections in Quebec, which states in 19 different languages that there will be an enumeration of voters taking place in September 1995 and that the voter list drawn up after the process will be used in the October 1995 Referendum Vote in Quebec, Canada. Information about how to have one’s name added to the voter list is also provided; languages featured include French, English, Spanish, Romanian, and Portuguese.

Noveau: Scrutin electronique

“Nouveau: Scrutin Electronique” is an August 1995 pamphlet, available in French, which provides instructions and basic information on the Municipal Election set to happen on the November 5th 1995 in the town of Hull in Canada. The document, published by the Bureau of the President of the Election in Hull, includes a map of electoral districts, information on how to register and vote and most importantly it informs readers that this election will feature electronic ballot boxes which will count votes automatically as ballots are cast.

Pre-Election Technical Assessment: Kingdom of Cambodia



This report serves as an assessment of progress toward local and national elections in Cambodia.  The results of IFES work stem from work conducted in 1995 concerning the formation of a committee to develop new laws on local and national elections.  Included in this document are drafts of the local election laws, technical elements of the law and records of governmental, legislative and citizen discussions.

Armenia: The 1995 Parliamentary Elections, Materials Prepared by the On-Site IFES Team, August 1, 1995



This report begins with a compilation of weekly reports completed by the IFES/Armenia Field Team.  The report provides a general overview of elections work in Armenia and election observer guidelines for international observers.  The document also discusses the creation and implementation of electoral law and its application to electoral processes.  Lastly, the report provides sample ballots and an official guide book for election observers in Armenia.
