Wyoming Election Guidelines
The August 1984 “Wyoming Election Guidelines” prepared by Wyoming Secretary of State Thyra Thompson begins by specifically addressing procedures for absentee registration and voting in health care facilities to ensure equal voting opportunities. The “Guidelines” proceed to address military and overseas voters as well as general absentee voting issues. Explicit circumstances such as regulations of campaign nomination, dual office holding, candidate withdrawals, and write-in and independent candidates are included alongside basic voter registration information to further educate Wyoming residents.
