Una Experiencia Democratica
“A Democratic Experience” is the first edition of the “Horizonte Ciudadano” informative bulletin, available in Spanish, issued in 1995 by the Federal Electoral Institute in Mexico. The bulletin discusses, through illustrations, a democratic experience for children, intended to familiarize young children with the benefits that come with actively participating in a democratic setting. “Getting to Know the Civic History of Mexico 3” is an informative booklet, available in Spanish, published in 1995 by the Federal Electoral Institute, and it presents the civic historical facts and personalities throughout the months of July-September. The pamphlet is meant to amplify the knowledge of Mexican citizens regarding the most important happenings that have shaped the creation of Mexico, its identity and its historical memories that have been significant factors in the building of a democratic culture in Mexico. Some of the events mentioned are: the restoration of the Republic in July 1867 and the anniversary of the Independence in September of 1810.
