This national act outlines in detail all rules and regulations regarding voter registration and candidate and political party registration, defines the electoral structure, explains governmental appointments, and provides an electoral code of conduct. This publication was designed by Rushdi Nackderian and was provided in order to educate the South African public of the system of voting and elections in their country.

Truth Talk
This is the November 1996 edition of South Africa’s “Truth Talk,” a publication of the country’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission. The magazine focuses on reparations for civil rights violations of the past and includes a piece by Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu, the Commission’s chairperson. There is also a section on individuals’ reactions to the work of the Commission. A second topic of this magazine was the granting of amnesty to South African’s who had perpetrated human rights violations while under orders. This piece was published two years after the 1994 elections in South Africa, the first to feature universal adult suffrage.
