The Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) manages local elections within 20 local government areas in Nigeria, serving over 6 million registered voters, the most of any state in the country. Supporting ASEAN to Mainstream Disability Rights
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations' (ASEAN) Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights launched an initiative to develop a new regional instrument to mainstream the rights of persons with disabilities across all its development objectives, the ASEAN Enabling Masterplan 2025: Mainstreaming the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. In May 2017, the ASEAN General Election Network for Disability Access began providing inputs to the task force’s draft plan.
