Ballot used in the first round of the 1992 presidential election in Romania. The main candidates in the 27 Septemeber election were Ion ILIESCU (Democratic National Salvation Front), Emil CONSTANTINESCU, and Gheorghe FUNAR (Romanian National Unity Party). A second round of voting was held on 11 October.

Ballot used for elections to the Chamber of Deputies in Romania on 27 September 1992. This ballot was used in Bucharest, district no. 41, and voters selected the party list of whom they wished to cast their ballot. The main parties in the election were the Democratic National Salvation Front, Romanian Democratic Convention, and the National Salvation Front.

Non/Oui Referendum '92
“Non/Oui Referendum '92” is a political pamphlet, available in French, distributed in 1992 by the Director General of Elections in Quebec which provides information on the Referendum vote in Quebec that will take place October 26th 1992. The document contains two separate pamphlets, the first explaining to citizens why they should vote no, the other giving arguments for voting yes. The referendum will decide whether or not the Canadian constitution should be changed in order to honor the Charlettetown agreement. The last part of the pamphlet for “yes” is in English.

The Referendum Question
“The Referendum Question” is a 1992 booklet, published by Elections Canada, which makes the referendum question available in French, English and several Aboriginal languages. Although the question will only appear in French and English on the official ballot to be voted on in the Referendum of 1992 which decides whether the Canadian Constitution should be renewed, aboriginal voters will be able to bring this booklet to the polls with them.

Your History as Theatre!
“Your History as Theatre!” is a pamphlet from April 1992, made in joint production by the National Assembly, the Director General of Elections in Quebec and the Minister of Education in Quebec, that provides plans for theatre activities to celebrate the 200 year anniversary of the Parliamentary Institutions in Quebec, coming up in 1992. The pamphlet is aimed at middle and high school students in the hope that this ‘historic theatre’ activity will raise awareness of the government system in Quebec.

Civil Education Outreach Project for Romania
This proposal for the “Civic Education Outreach Program for Romania” by IFES outlines its plans for the promotion of democratic concepts into the country as well as plans for voter education. Published on March 31, 1992 this proposal includes program objectives, plans for implementation, and a core curriculum with the goal of providing Romanians the means to participate in democratic elections.
