Egypt’s First Free Presidential Election
Fifteen months after the ouster of President Hosni Mubarak, Egypt held what is considered to be the first free presidential election in the country’s history. Over the span of two days, citizens all across the country queued to cast their vote for one of the 13 candidates on the ballot. Elections in Serbia: May 6 Presidential, Parliamentary, Provincial and Local Elections
On May 6, Serbian citizens will cast their vote for the next president. Due to President Tadić’s voluntary resignation on April 5, 10 months ahead of the expiration of his term, the presidential election will now take place on the same day as scheduled parliamentary, provincial and local elections.
