Kofi & Ama Learn about Voter Registration
In order to educate and encourage the Ghanaian public, the Electoral Commission of Ghana produced this comic strip in 1995, a year before the national elections. Aimed directly at the youth population, this comic strip provides information regarding the new registration process, voting rules and qualifications, and other facets of basic electoral knowledge. The document was created by the Support Program for Decentralization and funded by the Swiss Association for International Cooperation. Topics covered in the comic strip include Communal Elections, candidate qualifications for the Communal Council and how to vote.

A Guide to the Voter
In preparation for the November 3rd, 1992 Presidential Elections and the December 8th, 1992 Parliamentary elections in Ghana, the Interim National Commission published “A Guide to the Voter.” This guide provided Ghanaian citizens with complete voter registration information, further information on the election process and an overview of election workers. The purpose of this guide is to educate the public and contribute towards a peaceful, free, and fair election.
