“Voter: un droit, Voter: un devoir” is a 1996 pamphlet, available in French and Wolof, which explains how to vote in the November 1996 regional, municipal and rural elections in Senegal. The document, published by the Republic of Senegal Ministry of the Interior with the help of IFES, uses drawings to illustrate the step by step procedure for casting a vote.

“Do You Think Your Vote does not count?” is a voter brochure developed in 1996, available in both Romanian and English, by the Pro Democracy Association in lead up to the June 2, 1996 Local Elections in Romania and intended to stimulate people to exercise their right to vote. The brochure contains a description of the local offices to be elected by the voters: the Mayor, the Local Council, and the Regional Council. Additionally, it contains information about voting instructions and voter registration as well as it includes a list of the irregularities that could be detected during the voting process and how to deal with them when needed.

“No Voting=No Speaking” is a voter pamphlet, available in Romanian, issued in 1996 by the Pro Democracy Association in lead up to the 1996 Parliamentary and Presidential Elections in Romania. The pamphlet is intended to stimulate people to express their right to vote. The pamphlet depicts a person having his mouth zipped up, thus the title of the pamphlet.

Non/Oui Referendum '95
“Non/Oui Referendum '95” is a political pamphlet, available in French, distributed by the Director General of Elections in Quebec in 1995 which provides information on the Referendum vote in Quebec that will take place October 30th 1995. The pamphlet calls to all citizens of Quebec to pronounce themselves on the future of Quebec, as the referendum will decide whether Quebec should become a sovereign nation, separate from Canada. The pamphlet describes the history of this issue, provides arguments why the public should vote yes at the referendum, and what will happen if it passes. Parts of the pamphlet are made available in English.

“Ce que vous devez savoir sur le project de loi sur la séparation du Québec du Canada” is a report in French from 1995 by the Québécois Committee for No (“Le Comité des Québécoises et des Québécois pour le Non”) intended to illustrate why citizens of Quebec should vote No at the October 1995 Referendum vote on whether Quebec should claim sovereignty from Canada. The report takes a pamphlet from the National Assembly which explains why the new law for sovereignty would be the right choice and then marks it up with numerous comments on how these groups are deceiving the public and what voting yes in the referendum would really mean.
