La Mejor Eleccion
“The Best Election” is an informative comic book, available in Spanish, issued in 1995 by the Federal Electoral Institute in Mexico, intended to familiarize children with the concept of democracy and what it means to be an active citizen in a democratic society. The comic book explains and describes the ways to successfully organize themselves when lobbying for a particular matter, as well as it teaches young children the basic steps for voting.

“Women’s Juridical Conquests” is a civic education handbook, available in Spanish, issued in 1995 by Olga Caballero Aquino and Rafael Denida on behalf of CEPEM and it is meant to familiarize readers with the juridical achievements attained by women throughout time. The handbook briefly lists the situation of women from all around the world, from the ancient times until present days, and later goes on to describe the juridical situation of women in Paraguay.

The document includes a map showing the districts where citizens need to register to vote as well as some basic information on voter registration, such as: reason for voter registration, when to register, and how to register, being among the other themes.

“Getting to Know the Civic History of Mexico 3” is an informative booklet, available in Spanish, published in 1995 by the Federal Electoral Institute, and it presents the civic historical facts and personalities throughout the months of July-September. The pamphlet is meant to amplify the knowledge of Mexican citizens regarding the most important happenings that have shaped the creation of Mexico, its identity and its historical memories that have been significant factors in the building of a democratic culture in Mexico. Some of the events mentioned are: the restoration of the Republic in July 1867 and the anniversary of the Independence in September of 1810.
