This 1995 pre-election assessment in Uganda was conducted under core funding from the US Agency for International Development (USAID). The literature was intended to educate the Ugandan people on their civic responsibilities and human rights. The booklet also contains chapters that examine the economic, political, and constitutional orders of Uganda as well as the electoral process of the country.

Code of Conduct for Civic Educators
“Code of Conduct for Civil Educators” is a 1996 publication that was aimed at supporting educational initiatives towards the Ugandan Constitution. The piece outlines the role of civic educators in Uganda as people who should foster strong voter turnout, as well as promote an open flow of knowledge so that voters can make the decision that is right for them. Furthermore this was published in 1996 the same year as the Ugandan presidential and parliamentary elections.

“We all Must Register” is a registration/voter motivation brochure, available in Spanish, issued in 1996 by the “Decidamos” group in Paraguay in lead up to the 1996 Paraguayan Municipal Elections. The brochure is meant to stimulate voters to register in the new permanent civic registry that would allow them to vote in the elections. The brochure explains the exact steps to be taken for a correct registration process.
