This document was published in lead up to the year 2000 elections by the “Chicago Board of Election Commissioners.” The piece contains each of the 50 City Wards in Chicago broken down by precinct and furthermore contains each precinct’s polling place’s name and address. The November 7th elections would feature the presidential race between the Republican nominee George W. Bush and the democratic nominee Al Gore.

The 2000 Edition of the “Voter’s Self Defense Manual” issued by Project Vote Smart details contact information, campaign finance information, performance evaluation ratings, and recent key voting history for both members of the Senate and House of Representatives in the year 2000. Executive Summary on Findings of National Youth Survey
“The Executive Summary on Findings of National Youth Survey Conducted for 20/20 Vision” is a 1999 report on the overall feelings of youth on several key political issues. The study focused on youth’s views on government, their personal current concerns, the US’ role in the world and their views on environmental protection. The report, based on telephone surveys of 500 young adults 18-29 years of age, concluded that while this demographic has an engaged world view they believe that they can make the biggest impact closer to home.
