“General Information on Elections 1988” is a voter handbook issued in 1988 by Joyce Hazeltine, South Dakota Secretary of State, in lead up to the 1988 South Dakota Elections. The voter handbook is designed to provide information on the qualifications to hold office in South Dakota, positions to be filled in the 1988 Elections in South Dakota, and it provides and information sheet for the circulation of petitions for ballot questions. Additionally, it contains an Election Calendar with the most important dates of the 1988 South Dakota Elections as well as the list of South Dakota State Officials and the list of the congressional delegation officials with their names and addresses. Moreover, it contains a list of the number of registered voters, by counties, for the South Dakota General Elections.
