"Voter c’est Collégial!”is a guide, available in French, designed to teach older high school students how to hold an election or referendum vote in school. The guide, published in 1997, is part of a larger project by the Director General of Elections in Quebec to instruct youths in the rules and regulation of the electoral system in Quebec, Canada.

Information 1997 Federal Election
“Information 1997 Federal Election” is a pamphlet from April 1997, available in both English and French copies, explaining recent changes in registration and voting processes in Canada. The pamphlet was published by Elections Canada to warn readers of these changes so they may successfully participate and vote in the 1997 Federal Election. Changes include new electoral district boundaries, confirmation of voter registration, the emergence of special ballots, and staggered voting hours.

Supporting the Electoral Process in Ghana, Results of the 1996 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections , 7 December 1996
This report begins with an announcement from The Great Alliance, a political grouping formed by the New Patriotic Party and the People’s Convention party. The announcement critiques the 1996 general elections in Ghana and discusses the successes and problems with the election. The report details 19 reasons why the elections were flawed and rigged, most stemming from the relationship between the NDC (ruling party) and the Central Election Committee. The report finishes by displaying the parliamentary election winners by region and party.

Truth Talk
This is the November 1996 edition of South Africa’s “Truth Talk,” a publication of the country’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission. The magazine focuses on reparations for civil rights violations of the past and includes a piece by Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu, the Commission’s chairperson. There is also a section on individuals’ reactions to the work of the Commission. A second topic of this magazine was the granting of amnesty to South African’s who had perpetrated human rights violations while under orders. This piece was published two years after the 1994 elections in South Africa, the first to feature universal adult suffrage.
