Produced by the Electoral Commission of New Zealand in 1996 prior to the October 12th 1996 general elections, this document, complete with cartoon illustrations, differentiates between the functions of the electorate and party votes each citizen now receives.

“Code of Conduct for Civil Educators” is a 1996 publication that was aimed at supporting educational initiatives towards the Ugandan Constitution. The piece outlines the role of civic educators in Uganda as people who should foster strong voter turnout, as well as promote an open flow of knowledge so that voters can make the decision that is right for them. Furthermore this was published in 1996 the same year as the Ugandan presidential and parliamentary elections.

“How to Vote” is an informative document, available in Italian, issued in 1996 by the Ministry of Interior of Italy, in lead up to the April 21, 1996 Italian General Elections. The document contains instructions on how to mark the ballot and the sample ballots to be used when electing the members of the Chamber of Deputies and Senate of the Republic. Additionally, it contains a brief explanation on the opening time of the polling stations and the ballots to be used in the elections.
