This document was released in 1991 year in which there were many local and municipal elections throughout Canada. A copy of the document in French is also included.

Voter Guide -- Queens
“Voter Guide-Queens” is a voter handbook, available in both English and Spanish, published in 1991 by the New York City Campaign Finance Board, in lead up to the November 5, 1991 General Elections. The guide is meant to provide voters with information about voting, to inform them about their rights as voters and the procedures that lead to a correct exercise of voting. The Guide also contains the list of the candidates, running for the Queens General Elections for City Council, with their background information and personal statements. The Guide also includes a chapter on the NYC Campaign Finance Program to explain how this program helps make local elections more competitive and democratic.

Jackson County Voter Pamphlet
“Jackson County Voter Pamphlet” is a voter guide published in 1990 by Kathy Beckett, Jackson County Clerk, in lead up to the March 27, 1990 Regular District Election, conducted by mail. In this election, Jackson County voters were asked to vote on local school district board of directors, a proposed Jackson-County community college formation and directors, education service district directors and funding measures for Rogue Valley Transportation District and the City of Phoenix. Additionally, the pamphlet includes a sample ballot, which lists all of the candidates and measures on the ballot, as well as their statements in support or against the measures. Moreover, the voter pamphlet also provides instructions on how to vote.

“Legal Paper Nr. 98126 E” is an informative document, available in Spanish, issued in 1990 by the MANO, a student government political party from the Nocturnal High school of Limon, Costa Rica, and addressed to the School’s Student Electoral Tribunal. The document is a letter of registration by MANO (”Authentic Nocturnal Organized Movement”) to the School’s Student Electoral Tribunal, presenting the student political party’s members, program, symbol and flag.

The booklet goes over voter’s rights, campaign finance and also provides council district maps. It was produced in lead up to the local elections in the city held on Tuesday November 7, 1989.

“Chile Needs Your Commitment with the Future” is a flyer, available in Spanish, issued by the PARTICIPA Corporation of private law, Chile, and intended to stimulate people to vote in the 1988 national plebiscite in Chile. The flyer reaches out to the Chilean voters encouraging participation that would bring in the country the desired values of a democratic system.
