A Guide to the Voter
In preparation for the December 7th, 1996 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections in Ghana, the Electoral Commission of Ghana published “A Guide to the Voter.” This guide provided Ghanaian citizens with complete voter registration information, further information on the election process and an overview of election workers. The purpose of this guide is to educate the public and contribute towards a peaceful, free, and fair election.

MMP explained in two ticks
“MMP Explained in 2 Ticks” is a page describing the basic principles of the Mixed Member Proportional system for voting for New Zealand’s members of Parliament. Produced by the Electoral Commission of New Zealand in 1996 prior to the October 12th 1996 general elections, this document, complete with cartoon illustrations, differentiates between the functions of the electorate and party votes each citizen now receives.
