Final Report: IFES Technical Assistance for Municipal Elections in the West Bank and Gaza
This report summarizes on-site technical assistance provided by IFES to the Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Local Elections and the Supreme Elections Committee for municipal elections in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Ecuador Consulta Popular Ballot 1997
On 25 May 1997, Ecuadorians voted in a series of 14 referendums. The referendum was called after the removal of President Abdala BUCARAM from office by the National Assembly. Voters cast ballots regarding whether they agreed with his removal, in addition to the appointment of Fabian ALARCON Rivera as the new president.
