On May 31, IFES delivered its final document on the 2019 transmission of preliminary electoral results (TREP) to the Supreme Electoral Tribunal of El Salvador. Guatemalan Political Parties Commit to a Transparent, Ethical and Peaceful Electoral Process
The “Agreement for a Transparent, Ethical and Peaceful Electoral Process” was signed on March 11 by representatives of 18 of the 28 political parties that will participate in Guatemala’s upcoming elections. The agreement was an outcome of the Electoral Violence Prevention Plan developed by Guatemala’s Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE), with the support of IFES.

Memorandum of Collaboration to Strengthen Political Rights of Guatemalans with Disabilities
On April 8, IFES and Guatemala's National Council for Persons with Disabilities and signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) to enhance collaboration between the two organizations. IFES and CONADI have worked together since 2011, and the MoC demonstrates their enthusiasm and renewed commitment to continue working together for a more inclusive democracy in Guatemala.
