“Les Eleves Haitiens disent et dessinent les Droits de l’Homme” is a booklet which features poems in Creole and French and the drawings from Haitian schoolchildren obtained from a picture contest organized by UNESCO to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The crisis between Legislature and Executive is creating a political struggle and this document, available in French, provides historical information on the political development of Haiti with the reoccurring theme that in times of crisis, resorting to illegal activities has led to bitter consequences. The document also gives recommendations for solving this crisis with individual signatories agreeing to these points; yet the common source of the document is not listed.
