Vote!
“Vote!” is a short pamphlet from 1992 produced by the D.C. Board of Elections and Ethics which encourages the reader to vote in the Presidential Election on November 3rd 1992. Registered Voters will have received their new Voter Registration Card and have been informed of what other offices will be voted on in the November Election. The document also includes information on Advisory Neighborhood Commission elections – the candidates for which will appear on the November ballot.

“Vote 1992” was produced in St. Louis County, Missouri in lead up to that year’s general elections. The piece goes over the electoral process and provides voters with a synopsis of key dates in the election season and how to vote absentee or if you are handicapped. Presidential elections held on November 3rd of that year featured a race between Republican incumbent George H.W. Bush and Democratic nominee Bill Clinton.

“Vote Smart Studies” is a 1992 publication of “Project Vote Smart.” This booklet includes a description of the US political parties, a section called “The Voters Self Defense Manual” and a glossary of political terms. The literature was released during the 1992 presidential campaign. “Project Vote Smart” is a non-partisan and non-profit research organization.

Vote: Your Capital Investment in Alabama's Future
This document, published in Alabama, provides a two page break down of the 1992 elections. The topics covered include voter registration procedure, election dates, which political offices are on the ballot and absentee voting and Election Day procedures. The pamphlet was distributed the same year as the presidential election between George H.W. Bush and William Jefferson Clinton that was held on November 3, 1992.

Voter Guide for Forsyth County
“Voter Guide for Forsyth County” is a voter handbook published in 1992 by the Forsyth County Board of Elections in lead up to the 1992 Election. The guide is meant to provide voters with information about voting, to inform them about their rights as voters and the procedures that lead to a correct exercise of voting. Some of the procedures mentioned are the curbside voting, absentee ballots as well as regular voting procedures. Additionally, it provides a brief description of the types of elections, from the Primary Elections to the Presidential ones.

Voter's Self-Defense Manual
“The Voters Self Defense Manual” is a piece of literature, published in 1992, aimed at increasing voter savvy in what it perceives to be an increasingly dishonest political climate. The document discourages voters from participating in poles, as it views them as being a way for candidates to tailor their image, and to follow the money trail from special interests and PACs back to the respective candidates. Issues such as welfare, international relations and health care are also addressed. The booklet was created by “Project Vote Smart,” a non-partisan, non-profit research organization. This piece was released the same year as the groups founding and the same year as the George H.W. Bush and William Jefferson Clinton presidential election.

Yes for Virginia's Future, For Virginia's Bonds
“Yes for Virginia’s Future, For Virginia’s Bonds” is a voter pamphlet produced in 1992 in Virginia and authorized by the Northern Virginians for Education in lead up to the 1992 elections, listing the names of the candidates running for President and Vice President , introducing the proposed constitutional amendment to create Revenue Stabilization Fund, as well as introducing the three proposed bond issues and encouraging people to vote yes on the three of them, by presenting six reasons why one should vote “Yes” on the Virginia bonds. Additionally, it presents the list of the groups that have endorsed the bonds.

You Don't Need a Home to Vote
“You Don’t Need a Home to Vote” is a letter, dated September 8th 1992, addressed to the National Coalition for the Homeless in Connecticut which explains a project for voter registration targeting homeless people. In an effort to increase voter participation in the 1992 Presidential Election in the USA, the Coalition for the Homeless and the Community for Creative Non-Violence created a campaign for voter registration activities for the homeless. The document includes a ballot in order to conduct a mock Presidential Preference Poll.
