“Are You on the List?” is a compilation of several flyers, published by Elections Canada, with the objective of encouraging Canadian citizens to register their names to the voter list in order to be eligible to vote in the Federal Elections on November 27th 2000. The document, published in 2000, includes personal voter information cards, information on how to vote from abroad, and information pamphlets about the election.

This year 2000 copy of Chicago, Illinois civic education publication “You Be The Judge” was released in lead up to that years November 7 general elections. “Presidential Elections in the United States: A Primer,” is a Congressional Research Service report that outlines the four stages of the American Presidential election process. This CRS report, published on April 17th, 2000, provides in depth analysis and historical references regarding the pre-nomination process, national nomination conventions, the General Election, and finally the voting by members of the Electoral College to choose the President and Vice President. This document also includes facts on the qualifications and process of becoming a Presidential candidate as well as several tables and charts further detailing the four stages of the US Presidential election procedure.

Percentage of voters casting ballots at elections since 1942
This piece documents the trend in “percentages of voters casting ballots on election-day since 1942.” The piece looks at the percentage of voters participating in primary and general elections and includes statistics on the overall number of registered voters. The data indicate a precipitous decline in voting since 1942. Federal Electoral Process
“Federal Election Process” was published in March of 2000 by the Instituto Federal Electoral (IFE) in preparation for the Mexican general election on July 2nd 2000. This extensive booklet provides an overview of the aims of the IFE, the structure of the Mexican electoral process, and procedures necessary to participate in the elections. Also included are sections regarding political parties and campaign financing to further educate the Mexican public.
