“The Legal Situation of Women” is an informative handbook, available in Spanish, issued in 1995 by the Popular Legal Support Center in Panama. The handbook presents a thorough description of the women’s project implemented by the Popular Legal Support Center. The description covers the specific steps taken towards the implementation of the program through the diagnosis of the women’s situation in Panama. A certain number of women of all backgrounds were key elements of the study that helped detect the factors that affect the overall knowing and use of rights by women.
