The “Handbook of Illinois Government 1991-1992” contains a wealth of information related to the legislative structure and governance practices of Illinois' state government. Jackson County Voter Pamphlet
“Jackson County Voter Pamphlet” is a voter guide published in 1990 by Kathy Beckett, Jackson County Clerk, in lead up to the March 27, 1990 Regular District Election, conducted by mail. In this election, Jackson County voters were asked to vote on local school district board of directors, a proposed Jackson-County community college formation and directors, education service district directors and funding measures for Rogue Valley Transportation District and the City of Phoenix. Additionally, the pamphlet includes a sample ballot, which lists all of the candidates and measures on the ballot, as well as their statements in support or against the measures. Moreover, the voter pamphlet also provides instructions on how to vote.
