The piece was aimed at educating high school students and first time voters on the voter registration and physical voting process. This piece also contains a frequently asked question section and information on absentee voting. Specifically this piece was released in the lead up to the November 5, 1996 congressional and presidential elections between Democratic incumbent Bill Clinton and Republican Nominee Bob Dole and the following year's (1997) local elections in Connecticut.

“Democracy for the Youth” is a youth voter informative booklet, available in Spanish, issued in 1996 by the National Electoral Council of Colombia, and intended to help the Colombian youth understand the meaning and implications of a democratic society and why one should prefer it over the other forms of government; to learn about the separation of the three branches of power, as well as how to integrate oneself into a political party or movement. The booklet is meant to trigger the youths’ desire to participate in the building of a more democratic Colombia by educating them to fully understand the importance of having a democratic society and its attributes.

Election Official Training in Bangladesh: Project Overview and Recommendations
This report details the IFES Election Official Training Assistance Project undertaken in October and November 1995. The document focuses on the technical assistance and commodities support to the Secretariat in support of its newly established Electoral Training Institute. The report details the multi-tiered project which helped prepare the Training Institute for election officials throughout Bangladesh. The discussion turns to the preparation of manuals, the development of an Election Official Pledge and Code of Conduct and details the intricacies of IFES work in assisting in Bangladeshi elections.

“Teenagers Promote the Vote through Slick Music Video” is an article in The Washington Post written by Patricia Davis on May 23rd, 1996. Teenagers from local Fairfax, Virginia schools incorporated music into a video addressed to their peers about the importance of the youth vote. The video was shown throughout District of Columbia high schools and local teachers and city officials use the video to promote voter education to teenagers as well.
