“Building a Safer Country for All” is a civic education discussion guidebook, available in Spanish, issued by the Department of Political Science within the University of the Andes, Colombia. The guidebook is intended to encourage community participation in the effort to reduce violence and crime in Colombia through various means such as increasing the programs of social development, educating people in the spirit of civic and moral values, to stimulate young people to take part in community activities and/or to strengthen the judicial system and reform the police. Additionally, the guidebook contains some surveys.

This document provides a detailed pre-election breakdown of the consolidated general election held on November 2, 1993 in the City and County of San Francisco. “Voter Guide-Manhattan General Elections” is a voter handbook, available in both Spanish and English, published in 1993 by the New York City Campaign Finance Board, in lead up to the November 2, 1993 New York General Election. The guide is meant to provide voters with information about voting, to inform them about their rights as voters and the procedures that lead to a correct exercise of voting. It also provides short descriptions of each one of the local offices for which candidates were running for and the profiles of candidates in the Manhattan general races. Moreover, it includes a chapter on the NYC Campaign Finance Program and the Ballot Proposals along with the statements prepared by the board for and against the Term Limits ballot proposal.

“Political Advertising” is a brochure released in April 1993 by the Public Disclosure Commission of Washington State. The document outlines the requirements candidates must follow for political advertising in their campaigns. These requirements for written advertisements include areas such as sponsor identification, candidate affiliation, independent expenditures and placement and size of identifications. The brochure does not indicate whether these requirements concern a specific election in the USA.
