VIP: Voters' Information Pamphlet for the Citizens of New Mexico
“VIP: Voters’ Information Pamphlet for the Citizens of New Mexico,” was produced in 1980 by the Office the Secretary of State of New Mexico. The pamphlet contains information on topics such as voter registration procedure, absentee registration, duration of registration, dates of registration, sample ballots, and electioneering. The piece was released in lead up to the November 4, 1980 elections that would feature the presidential race between Democratic incumbent Jimmy Carter and Republican nominee Ronald Reagan. This document is translated into Spanish as well.
