“Now it’s your Turn” is a civic education pamphlet, available in Spanish, issued in 1997 by the “Decidamos” group in Paraguay as part of a national drive program to stimulate Paraguayan voters to register in the Permanent Civil Registry in order to be able to vote in the 1998 General Elections. The pamphlet briefly explains how to successfully register.

“Informative Guide about 1997 Registration” is a voter guide, available in Spanish, issued in 1997 by the “Decidamos” group in Paraguay as part of the voter participation drive program. The guide instructs all eligible voters on the procedures to be followed when registering, such as the documents required and place and time of registration. The voter guide is meant to stimulate voters to register in order to be able to exercise their right to vote.

“Vote 1997” was produced in St. Louis County, Missouri by the city’s Board of Election Commissioners in lead up to that year’s general elections. The piece goes over voter identification, registration, absentee voting and also provides voters with a synopsis of key dates in the election season. The pamphlet also covers information related to registering if you have recently changed your name or domicile.

First Vote Connecticut
“First Vote” was released in Connecticut in 1996 in lead up to that 1996 and 1997 election seasons. The piece was aimed at educating high school students and first time voters on the voter registration and physical voting process. This piece also contains a frequently asked question section and information on absentee voting. Specifically this piece was released in the lead up to the November 5, 1996 congressional and presidential elections between Democratic incumbent Bill Clinton and Republican Nominee Bob Dole and the following year's (1997) local elections in Connecticut.

Move the Masses
“Move the Masses” is a series of articles and charts that were published in 1997 in Johnson County, Kansas. The booklet starts off with a chart describing the voting and registration trends in Johnson County and then goes on to include clippings from news papers on topics such as voter registration and advanced voting. The bulk of the pieces cover the county’s advanced voting system, started in 1995, and its impact on voter turnout. The articles have an overall positive view of the new voting system and believe that is has been received well by the voters as indicated by its positive impact on voter turnout.
