“Accessible Facilities: How to Make Voting more Accessible” is a guide from 1996, available in a French and English copy, meant to help election officials make the polling sites more accessible to handicapped voters so they may vote in the upcoming Federal Elections. The document, published by Elections Canada, gives advice on how to make the sites more accessible by setting up ramps, special parking and adapted doors and entrances. “Getting to Know the Civic History of Mexico 5” is an informative booklet, available in Spanish, published in 1996 by the Federal Electoral Institute, and it presents the civic historical facts and personalities throughout the months of January- March. The pamphlet is meant to amplify the knowledge of Mexican citizens regarding the most important happenings that have shaped the creation of Mexico, its identity and its historical memories that have been significant factors in the building of a democratic culture in Mexico. Some of the events mentioned are: the adoption of the Agrarian Law in January, 1915 and the Tlatelolco Treaty of February 1967.
