The document, released in 1998, celebrates the 50th anniversary of the declaration of human rights by reaching out to children in Haiti and educating them about human rights and the importance of justice, equality, liberty, friendship and peace.

Les eleves haitiens disent et dessinent les droits de l'homme
“Les Eleves Haitiens disent et dessinent les Droits de l’Homme” is a booklet which features poems in Creole and French and the drawings from Haitian schoolchildren obtained from a picture contest organized by UNESCO to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The booklet, published in 1998 in Haiti, is made up of many drawings, each followed by a poem on the subjects of justice, equality, liberty, friendship and peace.
