Manual de cabildeo en medios de comunicacion
“Manual for Lobbying” is an informative booklet, available in Spanish, published in 1998 in Mexico, and intended to increase the presence of the civil society organizations in the means of communications, in this way exposing and influencing the public opinion. The booklet describes the concept of lobbying and it explains how to deal with the press effectively. Additionally, the booklet contains a citizen proposal divulging their request for a series of rights.

This book provides an extensive overview of the Mexican political-electoral structure, the responsibilities of the IFE, characteristics of the 1996 political reform, and concludes with details on campaign finances and media access to elections.

Bases and criteria to receive and inform international visitors interested in attending the 1997 Mexican Federal Electoral Process
In preparation for the July 6th, 1997 Mexican federal elections, the Instituto Federal Electoral (IFE) issued this booklet in May of 1997 outlining the “Bases and Criteria” for international visitors interested in attending and witnessing the Mexican election process. This agreement details 10 bases that must be followed by these international observers in order to attend the 1997 federal elections in Mexico.
