“My National Assembly” is an informational booklet, available in Spanish, issued in 1996 by the “Hagamos Democracia” civic group in Nicaragua and intended to familiarize Nicaraguans with the structure and responsibilities of the legislative power in Nicaragua, the National Assembly. The booklet describes the attributes of the National Assembly and the rights and duties citizens have to participate in the national politics of the country, specifically through the National Assembly. Additionally, the booklet contains the list of deputies in the National Assembly from 1990-1996.

The brochure is meant to stimulate voters to register in the new permanent civic registry that would allow them to vote in the elections. The brochure explains the exact steps to be taken for a correct registration process.
