The Youth Vote
This document analyzes trends in youth voting from 1971 onward. The piece purposely picks 1971 as it was the year which the 26th amendment was passed. That amendment moved the age for universal suffrage from 21 to 18 years of age. This 1999 study provides statistical breakdowns of youth voting figures as well as an analysis of what the data suggests.
