Changes in the 90s : Proposed Annual Legislative Sessions Amendment
“Changes in the 90s: Proposed Annual Legislative Sessions Amendments” was released in Kentucky in lead up to the 1998 state and national elections. This particular document focused on “Constitutional Amendment No. 1,” a piece of legislation which called for the commonwealth’s General Assembly to meet in interim sessions for a 25 day period during odd numbered years; this would reduce that organizational sessions from 10 days to 5 days. This amendment would be featured on the November 3, 1998 ballot for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
