Changes in the 90s : Proposed Annual Legislative Sessions Amendment
“Changes in the 90s: Proposed Annual Legislative Sessions Amendments” was released in Kentucky in lead up to the 1998 state and national elections. This particular document focused on “Constitutional Amendment No. 1,” a piece of legislation which called for the commonwealth’s General Assembly to meet in interim sessions for a 25 day period during odd numbered years; this would reduce that organizational sessions from 10 days to 5 days. This amendment would be featured on the November 3, 1998 ballot for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

“Changes in the 90s: Proposed Property Tax Exemption Amendment” was released in Kentucky in lead up to the 1998 state and national elections. This particular document focused on “Constitutional Amendment No. 2,” which would alter the state legislature’s ability to levy property and real estate taxes.
