The Choice is Yours
“The Choice is Yours,” is an Arizona publication that was released during the lead up the state’s general and special elections held on November 7, 1996. The pamphlet contains a brief timeline of the election, a sample ballot, a section on absentee voting and an overview of special election issues, including Proposition 100. Proposition 100 called for an increase in the monthly earnings of the mayor of Tucson and raises for city council members as well. There is a Spanish language version of this document included as well.

This report begins with a compilation of weekly reports completed by the IFES/Armenia Field Team. The report provides a general overview of elections work in Armenia and election observer guidelines for international observers. The document also discusses the creation and implementation of electoral law and its application to electoral processes. Lastly, the report provides sample ballots and an official guide book for election observers in Armenia.

Project V.O.T.E
“Project V.O.T.E” is a March/April 1995 edition of the voter news bulletin issued by the Project V.O.T.E staff, and intended to serve as an educational source for newly eligible voters. This edition contains a section of questions and answers that touch the topic of passing legislation. It also contains a list of the partial listings of bills that have been introduced during the 74th regular legislative session pertaining to education. Additionally, it contains some brief facts about Antonio. O. Garza, the new Secretary of State of Texas.

Registering to Vote in Illinois
This flyer, published in Chicago, Illinois in 1995, was geared at educating the electorate and spurring voter turnout. The piece provides lessons in civic (noting which years will have which elections), and includes information as to where one should go to vote, how one should register to vote and what the process of voting with an absentee ballot it like. The piece also physically walks people through the voting process, giving readers a clue for what to expect at the polls.

1995 Voter Information Guide
“1995 Voter Information Guide” is a voter handbook prepared in 1995 by Bob Taft, the Secretary of State of Ohio, in lead up to the May 2, 1995 Primary Election and the November 7, 1995 General Election. The guide is meant to provide voters with information about registering and voting, absentee voting including the armed services absentee voting, to inform them about their rights as voters and the procedures that lead to a correct exercise of voting. It also provides short descriptions of each one of the offices for which Ohio voters will express their votes.
