“Voter Guide for Forsyth County” is a voter handbook published in 1992 by the Forsyth County Board of Elections in lead up to the 1992 Election. The guide is meant to provide voters with information about voting, to inform them about their rights as voters and the procedures that lead to a correct exercise of voting. Some of the procedures mentioned are the curbside voting, absentee ballots as well as regular voting procedures. Additionally, it provides a brief description of the types of elections, from the Primary Elections to the Presidential ones.

Voter's Self-Defense Manual
“The Voters Self Defense Manual” is a piece of literature, published in 1992, aimed at increasing voter savvy in what it perceives to be an increasingly dishonest political climate. The document discourages voters from participating in poles, as it views them as being a way for candidates to tailor their image, and to follow the money trail from special interests and PACs back to the respective candidates. Issues such as welfare, international relations and health care are also addressed. The booklet was created by “Project Vote Smart,” a non-partisan, non-profit research organization. This piece was released the same year as the groups founding and the same year as the George H.W. Bush and William Jefferson Clinton presidential election.

You Don't Need a Home to Vote
“You Don’t Need a Home to Vote” is a letter, dated September 8th 1992, addressed to the National Coalition for the Homeless in Connecticut which explains a project for voter registration targeting homeless people. In an effort to increase voter participation in the 1992 Presidential Election in the USA, the Coalition for the Homeless and the Community for Creative Non-Violence created a campaign for voter registration activities for the homeless. The document includes a ballot in order to conduct a mock Presidential Preference Poll.

“Young Texas Voters” is a voter handbook produced in 1992 by the Elections Division of the Texas Secretary of State’s Office, in lead up to the 1992 General Election, and intended to inform and stimulate Texas voters about the importance of exercising their right to vote. The handbook contains brief information about voter registration, voter qualifications, as well as it contains an Election Calendar with the most important dates of the 1992 General Election. Additionally, it contains a voter registration application sample followed by instructions on how to fill out one.

This report analyzes the Government of Guinea-Bissau’s ability to carry out free, fair and open elections. Elements examined by and IFES team include the role of the electoral law in the administration of the elections, a review of the constitution, ballot design and the role and duties of poll workers. The report also covers aspects such as voter identification, civic/voter education, election observers and procurement of election materials.
