Your Last Chance to Register
“Your Last Chance to Register” is a political flyer intended to remind South Africans that April 28th 1995 is the last day to register to vote in local elections. The flyer indicates how to register as well as what the positive and negative aspects of voting are. One example of a positive reason to vote is the ability to support the “RDP,” the African National Congress’ Reconstruction and Development Programme. A version in Afrikaans is also provided.

Published in January 1995 by the General Elections Institute of Indonesia, this guide provides educational information outlining the 1997 General Elections in Indonesia. Entitled “The 1997 General Elections” provides widespread information regarding the structure of the Indonesian electoral system, responsibilities of the election organizers, as well as voter registration procedures. The 1997 elections took place on May 29th, 1997.

This flyer, published in Chicago, Illinois in 1995, was geared at educating the electorate and spurring voter turnout. The piece provides lessons in civic (noting which years will have which elections), and includes information as to where one should go to vote, how one should register to vote and what the process of voting with an absentee ballot it like. The piece also physically walks people through the voting process, giving readers a clue for what to expect at the polls.

“Sample Ballot- 1995 Regional Elections” is a sample ballot, available in Spanish, issued in 1995 by the Supreme Electoral Council in Venezuela and intended to familiarize voters with the parties to be found on the ballot in the 1995 Venezuelan Regional Elections.
