Registration and Voting Information for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities in Chicago
This booklet, published in July of 1994, was distributed to help elderly and disabled people from Chicago, Illinois. The literature contains information regarding how to deal with registering under a changed name or address, what the necessary steps for voting are and how to fill out a registration card as well as information regarding the assistance of the hearing impaired and handicapped. The piece also goes over absentee voting for a hospitalized voter. There is also a Spanish version of the document included.

“What is a Polling Station?” is an informative brochure, available in Spanish, published in 1994 by the Federal Electoral Institute in Mexico in lead up to the 1994 Mexican General Elections. The brochure explains the administrative structure and function of the polling place directive tables and it describes the role of its members.

“Building a Safer Country for All” is a civic education discussion guidebook, available in Spanish, issued by the Department of Political Science within the University of the Andes, Colombia. The guidebook is intended to encourage community participation in the effort to reduce violence and crime in Colombia through various means such as increasing the programs of social development, educating people in the spirit of civic and moral values, to stimulate young people to take part in community activities and/or to strengthen the judicial system and reform the police. Additionally, the guidebook contains some surveys.
