“Candidates Guide 1995,” was produced by the State Board of Elections in Illinois with the express intent to educated prospective candidates as to how to become a balloted candidate. The booklet contains sections for partisan, new party and non party candidate filing as well as sections on filling requirements for non party candidates.

This 1995 document contains a list of election supplies necessary for running an orderly polling station. Included on this list were items such as: “votomatic” machines, economy voting units, a precinct binder and ballot box. The document also contains copies of the supporting affidavits necessary to make the charge of voter tampering.

Technikon SA & Chris
“Technikon and Chris SA” is a story booklet that was sponsored by International Business Machines (IBM) of South Africa and published by Solidarity Publications. The booklet was released in 1995, the same year as the South African local elections, and was aimed at educating the public on the election process. The piece also tries to enhance voter efficacy by indicating all of the beneficial aspects of voting.
