Is Your Name on the new Voter's list?
Available here both in Urdu and English, “Is Your Name on the New Voter’s List” is a reminder sent out by the Election Commission of Pakistan on September 8th, 2000. It provides a brief reminder to those Pakistanis over 18 to ensure that their names are on the voter’s list in order to be able to vote at the next election.

Kingdom of Nepal: Technical Assessment of Election System Performance, Phase 2: July-August 2000
This report concentrates on three issues relating to the current (circa 2000) situation of the Election Commission of Nepal: 1. Progress in establishing the district election offices which form a central part of the Commission's Five Year Development Plan. 2. Voter registration and the development of a sustainable system for the voter identity cards now being issued and 3. the effectiveness of the Election Code of Conduct and possible revisions to the code.

Promoting the Inclusion of People with Disabilities in Civil Registration and Municipal Elections in Kosovo
There is a significant presence in Kosovo of international forces and agencies, working in coordination to rebuild the physical infrastructure, to strengthen civil society, and to create sustainable social, political, educational, and economic institutions. Two critically important parts of this endeavor are (a) the civil and voter registration of residents of Kosovo and (b) the convening of municipal elections. These activities, vital to a healthy citizenry, are being designed and carried out under the authority of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the United Nations Civil Administration.

“Election Information 2000” is a piece of civic education material that was released in Anne Arundel County, Maryland’s “Board of Elections.” The piece contains information on voter registration, absentee voting, polling places as well as a list of relevant election dates and deadlines. The piece was released in lead up to the November 7, 2000 elections that featured the presidential race between the Republican nominee George W. Bush and the democratic nominee Al Gore.

How to Register to Vote
In the year 2000, the District of Columbia Board of Elections and Ethics (DCBOEE) published “How to Register to Vote,” a pamphlet that both informs District of Columbia residents on voter registration qualifications and procedure and encourages residents to register and vote. Issues such as absentee voting, voting services for Senior citizens and handicapped residents, and maintaining an up-to-date registration are included. A telephone service for Spanish speaking residents is provided.

“Take a Friend to Vote” is a packet of material that was published in 2000 by The League of Women Voters during the lead up to that year’s presidential elections. The materials include literature on the efficacy of voting, a list of numbers to call for absentee ballots, a question and answer sheet on voter registration and post cards with the slogan “We are going together to vote on November 7th.” This packet was aimed at increasing social capital and value around the upcoming presidential elections.
