Programa de Educacion Civica en Chile
“The Program for the Civic Education in Chile” is a civic education program handbook, available in Spanish, issued in 1988 by the CIVITAS Foundation in Chile. The handbook starts off with the list of the total number of electoral registration until December 31, 1987. The handbook presents the civic education program and the objectives of the campaign for civic education. Some of the objectives are: helping all Chileans to register to vote, stimulate Chileans who are already registered to express their right to vote, and to produce an educative handbook that would inform voters about the alternatives in the 1988 Chilean national plebiscite. Additionally, the document presents a scheme of the functioning of the program.

Register 88: Make it a Class Act
This pamphlet entitled “Register 88: Make it a Class Act” was published by the National Association of Secondary School Principal in 1988 after the NASSP received a grant to sponsor student voter registration nation-wide. The pamphlet contains step-by-step instructions as how to successfully organize and implement student voter registration in each school. The goal of the NASSP was to register 100% of eligible high school students before graduation in order for all to participate in the 1988 presidential election.

Registered voters may then challenge signatures on the petition; after which qualified candidates will appear on the ballot in an order determined by public lottery.
