In July of 1979, Washington Secretary of State Bruce Chapman published this informational pamphlet that provides specific instructions regarding issues of qualifications, residency, new registration, transfer voters, and absentee ballots. This issue of “Registration, Voting, and Absentee Voting Information” also gives the exact election dates and voting deadlines for the 1979 and 1980 primary and general elections.
